How many times do you get the chance to see a real bad ad and say nothing about it? The new Jeep Compass ads on MSN IM is one of those you can’t skip w/o saying how bad it is. Before we get there, did you notice how bad Chrysler and Jeep are branded online? Take a look at their sites, multi-region giants, still not getting it right online, I wonder why is that.

Forgetting how dumb the idea is, taking the TVC and getting a snapshot of it to be included on the online ad, pure stupidity in this case. It doesn’t make sense! What if I haven’t seen the TVC, how would I get the idea?
On the right side of the ad, there’s a little Arabic text: “???? ????, ??? ????? ?????? ????? ???? ????? ??????”, which means Jeep is a trademark owned by Daimler Chrysler. Does that make any sense to you?
